We’re on a mission to disrupt
routes into digital marketing…
and paid work placements with time-poor SMEs,
we believe we can start to close the digital skills gap.
Some people might call us crazy but we prefer ambitious.
How does dive in tae digital work?
Dive In Tae Digital is a programme funded by Fife Council to hand-select ambitious young people who are currently studying or unemployed for 8 weeks of digital marketing training. During training, the learners will cover all aspects of digital marketing from SEO to competitor research, data analytics to social media. After training, we will match them with a local small business in need of marketing support for a four week paid work placement. Our Dive In Tae Digital trainers are experts who have had years of experience marketing the world’s biggest brands, so both our learners and our small businesses are in very good hands for the duration of Dive In Tae Digital.

WHO’S BEHIND DIVE IN TAE DIGITAL?
Dive In Tae Digital is the sister brand of our digital marketing consultancy Scunnered Digital which is (coincidentally) run by sisters, Colleen & Alana Reid.
COLLEEN REID
With over 11 years of digital marketing experience (8 of those years working with big brands like Glenfiddich, Hendrick’s Gin, the BBC, Radisson hotels and Stena Line), Colleen is an expert in all things websites, SEO, content, analytics and strategy.
My route into digital: I graduated from university with a BA(Hons) in Journalism before briefly working in magazines. I was actually an intern myself after that, working as online editor of a parenting website which was my first taste of digital and SEO. From there, I moved into marketing agencies working with global brands for almost a decade before leaving to start Scunnered Digital because I wanted to work with small, passionate business.
ALANA REID
With 6 years of digital marketing experience (4 of those years with big brands like Old El Paso, Häagen-Dazs, Betty Crocker and Tesco Bank) Alana’s expertise lie in social media, branding and content creation.
My route into digital: I graduated from university with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Communication before working in retail. I was lucky to secure my first marketing job at a local retail store before moving to a marketing agency in Edinburgh where I learned totally on the job! Talk about imposter syndrome, I was Googling every jargon term that was thrown at me – not easy to remember marketing acronyms when you’re dyslexic!
